REST DAY

FINALLY a day when i spend it entirely at home.
but i had alot of stuff to do:
1. settle train/hotel reservations
2. pack my winter clothes 4 the trip. its damn alot for 14 days.
3. plan the itenary: what to do, places of interests n how to get there, how much, opening hrs......
daddy joey settled 1.
finally i'm just done packing.
squeeezing everything into the luggage n cannot bring too much stuff!
coz my daddy says if 1 person's luggage exceeds a certain limit must pay penalty.
but im not done with the itenary yet. sighs. 2moros continue!!
it's actually not that tedious.
n today i actually spent alot of time reading SABRIEL.
it is damn good. credits mostly to storyline.
erms, i'm gonna say smth controversial.
i think Twilight by Stephanie Meyer is overrated.
oh no, i think a whole mass of twilight fans r gonna beat me up.
but really lahh. compared to fantasy writers such as J.K. Rowling, Mark Robson, Neil Gaiman i think here writing skills kinda pales A LITTLE in comparison.
Garth Nix is a tad better than her.
her storyline is only rather good at the end becoz it's thrilling.
but the front part is too draggy. I feel the way she writes about introducing n telling readers who n what is Edward Cullen is too long winded. (several fans may clobber me at once now)
even the part where she got tricked by James is really cliche. (another slap on my face)
ALL THESE R JUST MY OPINIONS.
but it's really sweet lahhs. alot of girls will love it.
i quite like it too but after reading it once, i wun feel like reading it agn.
so anyway, i rate Twilight 6.5/10 for overall.
i really hope the movie will be better. n i think it is because it is both in US & UK top 10 but never reached number 1.
still, i cant wait 4 the movie to come out!!!!!!!!!!
bout Sabriel, i really dare not read it at night.
becoz it has haunting characters such as the Dead who wont stay dead.
they r spirits who r alr dead but with some help from some super evil villian they r able to come back to life but by using a dead corpse.
they move about with a lurching gait with a dangling hand, rotten eyelids, smashed nose, greasy half bald hair etc etc...
scary when u read it.
there was once i left the lights on after reading a chapter of Sabriel when a Dead thing tried to eat the main character Sabriel =x
buyt i still like to read it. im totally opposite from my bff Huai sian.
haha she doesnt read AT ALL.
not even about the story where humpty dumpty had a fall.
oh well, opposites attract right? ;p
anyway, jst as the 215 ppl n i decided to push back the xmas party to 26th, my daddy told me we may b going genting!!

n i hav to chiong to several stores because the post xmas stores will b on!!
i alr note which store i wanna chiong to but jst that i 4got a bulk of them =/
me n my shitty memory.
but i rmb those items i really wanna get.
a gold clutch from River Island & a reallly cute skirt from Novena.
both items r currently super ex but i really hope the price will droppp!!
n that i will grab it in time!
