Ris Low - Miss Singapore World
As a national icon
she is a shame to Singaporeans.

i find it horrifying haha!
People who come to her defence:
Newspapers - "...beauty is most important in this contest.." head of Speak Good English Sg
Seriously.. what a lousy defending statement.
Even if sg's representative beauty outshines the rest (which is evidently not the case)
with such speech impairment she will not win lohhs!!
and what annoyed me most is that the papers stated that
Singaporeans oso speak like her!!!!!
OMG.
if they are referring to the older generation
who has lower education and less exposure and are more cheena
yea i guess its reasonable.
Ris Low is 19 for goodness sake!
MY AGE!!
i think at our generation we are much more educated compared to older generations.
plus, although most of the ppl who live in sg are chinese
we are muchly english oriented.
LOOK AT OUR ROAD/SHOPPING/STREET SIGNBOARDS PLS,
ALL IN ENGLISH.
we are also educated in english!!
and yet she speaks like her whole life she has been living in some ulu island talking to coconuts and speaks english 1% of the time.
and the papers oso said our pronunciation sucks as much as her.
that may be the case
but its her PRESENTATION of her answers that really shattered her image.
What course do you study oso need to think?
plus, im sure many ppl dont pronounce
hospitality as horsepeetellytee.
and if the papers point is that she speaks just like every other ppl in sg
den what is a national icon - Miss Singapore World - for??
sians i oso wanna support Miss Singapore
but with the judges having such big stamps on their eyes and apparently EARS as well
what they choose will definitely not correspond with sg's choice.
How do they choose the winner anyway??!

friday Elaine, Joanne, me, Junxian, Tiongpeng, Ben and Xiaohei went clubbing!!
like after 3 weeks of not clubbinggg.
met up with Ben and Tp first!
initial destination - phuture
but decided - Clarke Quay! Attica + Rebel + Zirca~
haha we were so not high yet
and were very sian coz some ppl decided to pangseh us.
so..
i did a somersault while walking to cq!!
LOL.
and more awesomez stuff!
Attica boss treated us to 2 jugs of cranberry vodka! woohooo :D
first jug with Limin and Atiquah :D oso thks to them we got the drinks!
too bad cant rope in the guys to share with us!
sat at some place we never sat b4. LOL
Elaine and me were lying down and camwhoring! haha
